Whilst waiting for my flight to Taipei, the following question popped into my head: where would those that have been to Taiwan revisit if given the chance?
I have 2 weeks on this beautiful island and I want to experience the best it has to offer. I realise that what is best is entirely subjective; still, if you were on the Taiwan Tourism Board, how would you sell Taiwan?
Thanks guys and looking forward to your responses!
Oh god, where to start! Unfortunately I only had 2 weeks there myself (as an unplanned side trip) but I would LOVE to go back! Once you got past the dense, industrial cities it was such a unique and amazing place. It felt so familiarly ‘Asian’ yet so uniquely different from China and Japan at the same time!
Hmm, a place I’d love to revisit. Do I have to pick just one?
Hmm, I’d have to say Yushan mountain, (I think I spelled that right?) the trek up was a pretty good workout and the views were spectacular!
Hi Sean, take a look at our 18 things not to miss in Taiwan. Let us know how many you tick off…
Michael: I will definitely check that mountain out. Although, I am feeling quite lazy at the moment!
Andy: Thanks Andy.
I am just in Ximending at the moment, people watching from the comforts of a towering Starbucks.
Great, don’t miss Ay-Chung Flour-Rice Noodle (8 Ermei St), best in the city.
