As I have heard Normandy is known as one of the best travelling destinations which is mixed with everything. Any suggestions?
Normandy does indeed have a lot to offer. The author of the Normandy chapter of our France book reckons the city of Rouen is unmissable for its medieval atmosphere. Around Rouen there’s Richard the Lionheart’s Château Gaillard, and Claude Monet’s house and garden at Giverny. The hills, valleys and orchards of the Pays d’Auge are wonderful – if you’re a fan of cheese, note that this is also Camembert country! Then there are the world-famous Bayeux Tapestry and Mont St-Michel, plus the region’s array of moving war cemeteries.
Normandy is great, but the best travelling destination? Debatable.
Yeah Normandy does sound great to be fair but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder so to speak. What would constitute the ‘best travelling destinations’ would depend massively on your own personality and interests.
This is spam and I’ve reported it. Blatant advertising.
Maygun, I’m afraid we don’t allow promotion of external companies in this forum so I’ve removed your reference to that hotel.
Shikha, feel free to get involved in the Rough Guides community, but again we can’t support spam so I’ve removed your comment.
