Any ideas on what to do in Vancouver bc during 4 days, kids ages between 9 and 15
We have a car and will be staying in downtown
Lots to do!
Not sure where you’re from…but Stanley Park is a great park to go to. The Aquarium and First Nations Village and train are there.
Wandering around downtown is always fun. But wander to the Olympic flame structure!
Something totally different – Casa Gelato – 281 flavours of Ice Cream! Some are wacky and I wouldn’t to try them. But some are fabulous!
Those are some good starting points. But if you give me some more details of approximately when you’re coming to Vancouver and likes and dislikes of family members, I am sure I can provide more info!
The aquarium in Stanley Park is totally worth a visit – for the sea otters if nothing else. So cute the kids won’t be able to resist.
The rather exotically named Skyride (it’s a cable car…) to the top of Grouse Mountain gives a great perspective on the city and its spectacular surrounding land-, mountain- and seascapes.
Granville Island is a great destination for all ages – it has a really amazing food market which looks fabulous and tastes even better, lots of crafty stalls, galleries, boat trips, shows and tons of stuff aimed at kids. And it’s oddly central (despite being an ‘island’ no boats are necessarily required) so not at all hard to get to – though I wouldn’t recommend taking the car due to limited parking.
