The 1904 Edwardian Inn, 317 Biscoe St, north of the Mississippi Bridge (t 870/338-9155, w; $81–100), is an opulent, reasonably priced B&B with large oak-panelled rooms, slightly marred by its views over a chemical plant. On Cherry Street, Granny Dee’s, no. 426 (t 870/817-0200), serves Southern food, while Roadkill Grill, no. 523 (t 870/995-2881) is good for burgers, BBQ and enchiladas. For live blues check out Sonny Boy’s Music Hall, no. 301 (t 870/338-3501), or Fonzie’s, no. 400 (t 870/817-7736).
