Lunds Universitets Historiska Museum

Just behind the cathedral, the Lunds Universitets Historiska Museum is for the most part rather dull unless you have a specialist interest in ecclesiastical history. The statues from Skåne’s churches, in the medieval exhibition, deserve a look though, mainly because of the way they are arranged. The crowd of Jesuses hanging on crosses have an ominous quality worthy of Hitchcock, while in the next room all the Madonnas are paired off with the baby Jesuses.
