There are direct flights from more than a dozen UK airports, and from New York JFK, to Prague’s Ruzyně Airport (t220 113 314, whttp://www.prg.aero/cs), 10km northwest of the city. Several international routes (including one from London Stansted by Ryanair) serve Brno, and there are a couple of flights a week to and from Karlovy Vary (whttp://www.airport-k-vary.cz).

Prague is served by direct train services from numerous major European cities, including Bratislava, Berlin, Vienna and Budapest.

Eurolines (whttp://www.eurolines.com) runs good international bus services to the Czech Republic, as does Student Agency (whttp://www.studentagencybus.com), which also runs between Prague and other Czech cities. Tourbus (whttp://www.tourbus.cz) goes to Prague, Brno, Olomouc and other major cities.
