Hi Nikhil,

The RG offices are based in London, so we can recommend you lots of places to visit! (Have a look here, too: It would help to know what kind of thing you enjoy. Museums? Galleries? Restaurants? Parks? Shows?

As for budget accommodation, you can sometimes get good deals at places like CitizenM on the Southbank or the Hoxton Hotel, while on the more basic side you could try the Tune chain. There are reviews of hotels across the city in the Rough Guide to London ( if you want a bit more detail.

Hi Nikhil,

If you’re after “trendy” bars, head to East London (Shoreditch/Dalston) – I like NOLA and Beagle for cocktails. West London is generally pricier and smarter. More centrally, rooftop bars can be a fun experience: try the terrace at Sushi Samba in the City or Radio Rooftop in Covent Garden.

If you want to go clubbing and are into dance music, Fabric is a good shout. If wine bars are more your style, I’ve picked some of the best here:

Hope that helps!

Hi Nikhil,

You’ll need to get the train from London Waterloo to Portsmouth (or Southampton), then take the ferry. You can find some more details here and check train times here

  • Hi,

Some great places to visit in London are Hyde park if the weather is nice. Buckingham palace and the British guards are fun to see. If you’re lucky you’ll see the guard changing ceremony.

If you’re into shopping, the popular Oxford Street will be a place to go with lots of high end shops.

With regards to the average price for a night in London; you would be looking at somewhere between 110 and 150 GBP a for a 3 star hotel upwards.

We at Hotel Offers provide deals on hotels, so you can always email us at [email protected] and we will advise you and help you to save money without compromising comfort and quality.

    Enjoy your trip…
